2. Talent Build
Similar to other class in WoW, you got 3 talent trees to choose from. You'll find a lot of other Rogue leveling guides suggest Combat or Assassination build, which are great. However, that doesn't mean subtlety is out of the question. If you are keen on sneaky things, Subtlety can satisfy that, however, remember that Subtlety build is not that great for prolonged fights.

Combat
The fundamental and traditional Rogue talent build. Focusing on Combat tree allows you to burst high DPS with dual-wield specialization regardless of the quality of your weapons. Here are several important talents and abilities within this build:
- Blade Flurry: attack one additional opponent
- Ambidexterity: increase damage by your off hand
- Vitality: enhance your attack strength
- Main Gauche: improved chance for extra off hand attack

Assassination
This build mainly focus on the usage of poison to kill your enemy. Here are several vital talents and abilities in this build:
- Mutilate: strike with both weapons
- Assassin’s Resolve: your damage improve while you’re using daggers.
- Improved Poisons: boost the chance to put on Deadly and Instant Poison.
- Potent Poison: boost the damage done by your poison.

Subtlety
As i said above, this build is the “sneaky” build. It’s rather like ninja; you'll be sneaky and attack from stealth. These are a few crucial abilities and talents in this build:
- Shadowstep: appear behind your enemy and make your Ambush and Garrote damage increased.
- Master of Subtlety: strike from stealth does more damage.
- Sinister Calling: improve your agility and increase the damage of Backstab and Hemorrhage.
- Executioner: improve the damage of All Your finishing moves.

3. Leveling Methods
You may want to do it by yourself, with your pals, or using a fast Rogue leveling guide. It is all up to you. Right now at WoW, there are only a few ways to level up that provide truly huge XP:
- Leveling through quests
- Making use of Dungeons
- Making use of Battleground weekends, but only if you are on the winning side.

For me, questing is the most steady, decent, and quick way of leveling. Obviously, that only when you understand the most efficient way to finish each quest in the quickest possible way. From the three Rogue leveling guide tips above, 2 things have really great impact on your leveling speed: talent build and leveling methods. Combat and Assassination build are the fastest way to level up, so I suggest you stick to one of those. As for leveling method, quest leveling is the most recommended, although you can still dungeoning once in a while for some extra XP and better gears.
