TYME
OUT Youth Center
with SummerTYME
Camps
TYME
OUT is a youth retreat center that offers overnight accommodations and
programs for groups of children and teenagers. Serving youth for
over 25 years, today they provide over 7,000 teens each year with a safe,
positive, nurturing environment, offering opportunities that change lives;
and, creating leaders of tomorrow.
The staff of
SummerTYME Camps offer one-week camps for middle school-aged students
(entering grades 6-9). Each camp week has a specialty focus
including: Art, Creative Writing, Theatre, Brainbusters (for
Talented & Gifted students), Dance, Soccer, PraiseTYME (praise and
worship music), Young Catholic Stewards, and Leaders-In-Training (for high
school students). Creative and dedicated teachers and coaches teach
the specialty area, and a team of caring and energetic Camp Staff provide
the other fun activities and supervision. Each camp experience is
designated to build the three Cs of camp: Character, Confidence,
and Community.
One week at
SummerTYME Camps is $425, which covers all programming, room and board,
and a trained staff committed to giving each camper an engaging, fun, and
memorable experience.
Financial assistance is available to anyone
who qualifies, and no child will be turned away due to financial

A Mother's Arms
Within
A Mother's Arms is a first of its kind, community-based breastfeeding support
center in Wauwatosa, dedicated to helping breastfeeding families reach their
breastfeeding goals. It serves the communities of the metro-Milwaukee area
and offers services such as prenatal & postpartum breastfeeding class
consultations, breastfeeding consultations, support groups, and breast pump
& breastfeeding products.
Following
are the classes/consultations available at the center FREE:

10 Tips to Starting Breastfeeding off Right
Learn
how to get breastfeeding off to a great start. Tips are shared to
make learning to breastfeed easier. Recommended to take at least 1
month prior to due date. Significant other or other support person
encouraged to attend.
Working
without Weaning
Breastfeeding
options for returning to work discussed along with how to prepare and what
important things to consider when choosing a childcare provider.
Recommended to take prenatally or early postpartum.
Prenatal
Counseling
Address
specific concerns you may have about your ability to breastfeed due to
medical conditions, medications, multiple gestation pregnancy, history or
surgeries, etc.
Breastfeeding
Checkup
Review
proper positioning and latch, weight check, answer question, and
assistance/observation of a breastfeeding. A report is faxed to your
baby's pediatrician as well as written recommendations for you.
Recommended to have for those early concerns within the first week after
delivery.
Lactation
Management Consultation
Get
assistance/observation of a breastfeeding along with assessment of
mom/baby, pre/post feeding weights, and collaborative care plan developed
with family. Phone follow-up is included with physician report
sent. Recommended for concerns related to poor weight gain,
perceived or actual insufficient milk supply, chronic sore
nipples/traumatized nipples, multiples, "early" baby, jaundice,
etc.
Follow-up
Lactation Management Consultation
Evaluate
progress with earlier care plan and adjust as needed.
Assistance/observation of a breastfeeding including an assessment and
pre/post feeding weighing.
Pumping
Consult
Get
instruction on how to choose the correct breast pump for your needs, how
to use your breast pump, and how to achieve the best results when
pumping. Other pumping questions/concerns addressed.

Support Services
Find
answers to your general breastfeeding questions, drop-in weight checks,
lending library, support gatherings for moms, dads and moms of premature
babies, and special monthly "Monday Moments" for moms.
